PROYECTANDO LA TIENDA PRINCIPAL

PROJECTING THE MAIN TENT

 

 

 

Con el terreno más o menos listo, a falta de mucho, pero para mi gusto ya trabajo más sencillo y delicado, es hora de ir preparando la tienda de campaña que va a llevar el campamento, una tienda principal del Jefe Orco. 

He estado haciendo probaturas con palitos y un poco de bluetac, pero no me ha convencido el primero boceto, lo encuentro demasiado grande, le quita mucho protagonismo a la roca, y la idea es que la tienda esté montada alrededor de la roca y no que sea al revés, así que lo he desechado.

With the land more or less ready, with much to go, but for my taste already simpler and more delicate work, it is time to prepare the tent that the camp will carry, a main tent of the Orc Chief.  

I have been making tests with sticks and a little bluetac, but the first sketch has not convinced me, I find it too big, it takes away a lot of prominence from the rock, and the idea is that the tent is set up around the rock and not that It's the other way around, so I've discarded it.

 

 

 

 

Al final me quedo con una estructura similar, pero de menor altura menos extensa, además de que he aprovechado para dejar más o menos proyectado la parte trasera, que también lleva tienda.

La idea es que las dos partes de la tienda sean móviles y pueda desmontarlas para el transporte y para guardar el módulo, por lo que una vez tenga las cosas decididas, que aún no estoy convencido al 100%, darle rigidez de alguna forma y simplemente poder ponerla en un sitio marcado en el terreno y la roca para colocarlas cuando quiera montarlo todo.

In the end I am left with a similar structure, but less extensive in height, and I have also taken the opportunity to leave the rear part more or less projected, which also has a tent.  

The idea is that the two parts of the tent are mobile and I can disassemble them for transport and to store the module, so once I have things decided, which I am not 100% convinced of yet, give it rigidity in some way and simply Being able to put it in a marked place on the ground and rock to place them when you want to put everything together.

Hacía tiempo que estaban empezados y he pintado antes de acabarlos dos minis más de Punka, les debía acabarlos, y hoy he sacado un rato de pintura para rematarlos.

Tenía ganas de montar esta mini desde hace mucho, se trata de Ndulu, de Taban Miniatures, un forzudo con un bidón a modo de alas de avión y con una sierra de corte como arma... quizás pueda ser un Chatarrero... no sé, he preguntado por qué facción meterlo.

I've been wanting to build this mini for a long time, it's Ndulu, from Taban Miniatures, a strong man with a can as airplane wings and a cutting saw as a weapon... maybe he could be a Scrap Metal Dealer... no. I know, I've asked which faction to put it in.

 

 

 

AVANCES CON LA ESCENOGRAFÍA

Hoy le ha tocado el día al módulo de escenografía, me lo traje imprimado del instituto, donde tengo un buen sitio para ello, y hoy he empezado a dar color. 

Básicamente he dado la capa primera al terreno, con varios pinceles secos de distintos tonos de marrón, tonos oscuros, porque quiero un terreno oscuro, como creo que debe ser en Mordor.

Y luego a la pieza principal le he ido dando pinceles secos más o menos cargados de distintos tonos de grises hasta casi blanco, tengo que dar todavía muchos más para dar más calidad al acabado, pero se va viendo lo que va a ser esta parte, me queda idear y materializar el tema de la tienda orca.

Today was the day for the scenography module, I brought it primed from the institute, where I have a good place for it, and today I started adding color.  

Basically I have given the first layer to the terrain, with several dry brushes of different shades of brown, dark tones, because I want a dark terrain, as I think it should be in Mordor. 

 And then to the main piece I have been giving dry brushes more or less loaded with different shades of gray up to almost white, I still have to give many more to give more quality to the finish, but you can see what this part is going to be, I have to devise and materialize the theme of the orca store.

Hoy he recibido el coche número 100 de la colección American Cars de Altaya. Con ello doy por completa la colección, y es que el que me faltaba era precisamente el número 100. Bueno, completa por le momento, porque creo que han anunciado una ampliación hasta 135 coches... en fin, ya tengo 3 de esa ampliación que pillé hace tiempo de la edición francesa. Dentro de poco tocará ir haciendo fotos de todos...

Mi trabajo para el MasterMini de enero en La Guerra del Anillo. Me gusta como ha quedado, aunque no tenga nivel para competir en el MasterMini, pero bueno, para arañar algún punto más para El Desafío Total de este año, que suma los puntos de los cuatro concursos...

ORCOS DE MORDOR

Ya tengo acabada mi primera compañía para El Desafío de 2024, y como han sido unos Orcos de Mordor, cuando he estado haciendo las fotos y luego editándolas, he visto que no tenía hechos los montajes del ejército de Orcos de Mordor, así que hoy me he puesto un rato, y nada, los he sacado. Al final he contado 21 compañías de Orcos de Mordor, a los que habría que sumar, en caso de Mordor solamente, a los jinetes de wargo y otras cosillas como Trolls, por ejemplo, pero bueno, esos los subiré en otra ocasión.

Vamos pues con los Orcos de Mordor. Comenzaré con 5 compañías de mando. con estandartes, músicos, Capitanes, Héroes, Chamanes... en fin, cinco de mando.

 

I have already finished my first company for The Challenge of 2024, and since they were Orcs of Mordor, when I was taking the photos and then editing them, I saw that I did not have the setups for the Orcs of Mordor army, so today I I have put them in for a while, and nothing, I have taken them out.
