Hoy le ha tocado el turno a este Ent, también de Mierce Miniatures y que tiene un aspecto muy pero que muy siniestro.

Colores marrones sin ser muy oscuros pero sobre todo evitando los marrones claros. Mi única duda era la de ponerle verde o no, y finalmente sin verde, me gusta más así, desnudo, con todas esas ramas y esa cara de malo...

Después de haber pintado en estos días cuatro Ents para hoy me he propuesto preparar otro, uno grande de verdad, concretamente a Crémharunc, una "mini" de Mierce Miniatures, de la gama Érainn... ya tengo pintados varios Ents de esta gama, unos pequeñines y luego uno muy grande, pero este es el jefe...

Tengo el problema de la base, porque no entra en la de 65mm ni por casualidad, así que habrá que hacer algo para que entre, es decir, subirlo a algún tipo de roca o así...

Y sí, me ha dado tiempo a acabarlo para el final de mes, tras dos días en los que he podido trabajar un poco con los pinceles y sobre todo a que la peana la he acabado en tiempo récord y como yo quería, con el agua bajo las patas del Ent.

He usado la resina ultravioleta de Green Stuff World, y ha sido una pasada, con unos segundos bajo la luz de la linterna ultravioleta y seco y duro, una pasada. Con el trabajo que me costó en mi día para los espíritus de los muertos... uf... no quiero ni acordarme, y ahora en un segundo listo...

En fin, muy contento con el resultado, he cargado bastante la mini y sobre todo la peana, pero es que la quería así.

Hoy he vuelto a ir a la sede de la Asociación Torre de Dados y he estado allí un rato pintando. Además de meterle mano a las enredaderas del Ent de Majestic Bear, luego me he puesto un buen rato con Mórannach, el "ent" de Mierce Miniatures. He dado la capa base marrón oscuro a la zona de verde, y luego le he metido el verde en varias capas y a las ramas y raíces les he dado con varios marrones, además de dar una luz poniente al tronco que hace las veces de brazo derecho... en fin, que lo he dejado bien bosquejado para tener las ideas claras.

He recibido un par de cosas que había pedido hace bastante, ha tardado pero ya tengo aquí las últimas adquisiciones de Mierce Miniatures, unos refuerzos para mi ejército de Fangorn.

Pongo foto de solo una miniatura, ya que las otras son difíciles de dejar en posición sin pinearlos o pegarlos. Cuando vaya a pintarlos, espero que en breve, subiré fotos.

El de la foto es un modelo parecido a los que ya he pintado de Mierce pero bastante más grande, quedar muy bien en la peana de monstruo de los Ents.

Otra gran miniatura para mi colección, el décimo troll que tengo acabado, y la verdad es que me gusta muchísimo como ha quedado.

En un principio fue para presentarme al Challenge de The One Ring, y más tarde decidí pintar el otro troll, el de Eaglemoss, para El Desafío de La Guerra del Anillo, así mataba dos pájaros de un tiro, y he estado liado con este sobre todo, con el estandarte, primero para modelarlo con la masilla verde, y después elegir un motivo para el freehand y llevarlo a cabo, luego la base... en fin, que ha sido muy entretenido, pero me ha gustado mucho y estoy muy satisfecho con el resultado, ahora lo que toca es llevarlo de paseo, es decir, a un torneo, pero creo que a Madrid no va a ir, creo.

Aprovechando el Challenge de septiembre de The One Ring que va de abanderados, he sacado de la vitrina una mini que llevaba ahí ya unos añitos, junto a otros trolls, éste concretamente se llama Gjöll, de la increíble marca Mierce Miniatures, un trabajo de esculpido excepcional, y al que hasta ahora nunca me he atrevido a meter mano, sin embargo, creo que ya es hora, y que mi pintado ha mejorado bastante desde que adquirí los trolls, si este me queda bien seguramente me anime con el resto y me pille los dos que me faltan para tener una escuadra de Trolls tremenda.

Se me habían quedado guardados en las bolsitas cuando comencé a preparar la compañía de marzo para El Desafío, no me acordé ayer y me puse a limpiarlos, montarlos y prepararlos, ahora cuando acabe de escribir la entrada me voy a imprimar.

El montaje ha sido un coñazo porque son muy finas y los puntos de contacto muy pequeños, y ni con el Superglue conseguía un buen agarre, de hecho todavía hay cosas sueltas.

MIERCE MINIATURES. NORSE

Hoy por fin me ha llegado el paquete con los cuatro Trolls de Mierce Miniatures, que junto a los dos que ya tenían componen un magnífico sexteto. Y como son unas miniaturas espectaculares, he decidido subir aquí una entrada con ellas.

Ni decir tiene que todavía no están pintadas, ni de coña, pero ya las tengo, ahora lo que hay que hacer es buscarles un hueco para pintarlas.

Todo comenzó hace ya unos meses, cuando decidí comprarme los dos Trolls de la gama Norse que tenía Mierce Miniatures, una marca con unas miniaturas estupendas, pero que por desgracia apenas si casan para la temática de El Señor de los Anillos, quitando estas de los Trolls, quizás valgan algunas que pueden usarse como Dunlendinos, pero no sé bien si la escala está pareja o no.

El caso es que  me pillé un Troll con estandarte (Gjöll) y otro que era un Troll guerrero (Vörtum).

Y hace cuestión de un par de meses vi que tenían novedades, hasta cuatro trolls más, y uno de ellos un Troll Chamán, uf....

Al final piqué y aquí los tengo: Tres Trolls guerreros (Gurrir, Unnolg y Nisurl) y el Troll Chamán (Gämla Bror), y son una pasada.

Para que los veáis pintados os paso también unas fotos de las mini pintadas y/o montadas simplemente...

Apuntar también que hay una nueva miniatura que quedaría bien para ESDLA, se trata de una especie de Gigante-Montaña, no demasiado grande, pero sí muy chulo.

En fin, las minis son un pelín más grandes que nuestros Trolls, pero como ya tengo (hasta pintados) los que me pillé de Micro Art Studios, la gama de escalas crece y no desentonan. Éstos tienen todos unas caras parecidas, y muchos más detalles que los de GW. El único pero que les pongo son esos ridículos escudos, ya sé que son así, pero yo preferiría un buen escudo a eso, en fin, para gustos los colores.
