EL DESAFÍO 2021. MARCH
Seguimos actualizando El Desafío. En marzo ya ni intente participar, directamente me vi que no iba a tener tiempo.
De entre las compañías presentadas me quedo con estas a pesar de no ser ninguna la ganadora.

ONE MORE ENT
Esta mañana he acabado de colocar al ent en su base, así que ya tengo la parejita para El Desafío de Julio, llevaba sin participar desde el año pasado... uffff.
En fin, espero que os guste. Lo he pintado como si fuese un chopo, colores claritos y luego lineas horizontales; la idea es que parezca saliendo de su zona de pastoreo, con troncos iguales a él, porque es pastor de chopos...

EL DESAFÍO 2021. FEBRUARY
Voy a intentar ir poniendo al día los resúmenes de El Desafío, ya lo he hecho en la página de La Guerra del Anillo, tras un arduo trabajo, y ahora quiero recuperarlo para mi blog.
Comencemos por el ya lejano febrero, donde hubo una gran participación, yo lo intenté por segunda vez, pero no tuve constancia, así que volví a fallar, además comenzaban los últimos meses antes de la mudanza y demás, así que veía como la cosa iba para largo.
En febrero se cumplía el primer plazo para El Desafío Escenografía, que está siendo un éxito, con una muy buena participación y encima unos trabajos espectaculares.
De El Desafío me quedo con estos:

ALL READY FOR A NEW ENT
Junto a Bárbol tenía que pintar otro Ent, en principio a punto estuve de ponerme con el de Mierce que tengo ahí repetido, pero al final descubrí la caja del ent de plástico de GW, a falta de que me pille a Ramaviva de Forge World... pintaré el de plástico.
Y antes de imprimar a Bárbol preparé a este también para hacer la imprimación de las peanas y los ents a la vez, para ahorrar spray negro.
La cosa es que en la peana he querido meter tres troncos para pintarlos con el mismo esquema que el Ent, todo sea para dejar claro que es un auténtico pastor de árboles, de sus hermanos los árboles...

THE NEW TREEBEARD
Estoy de vuelta, y espero que se para mucho tiempo.
Durante el tiempo que he estado sin postear nada se me ha ido acumulando el trabajo, y aunque apenas si le he podido dedicar tiempo a pintar y conversionar miniaturas sí que debería haber subido los resultados de estos meses de El Desafío, lo iré haciendo poco a poco.
La razón del por qué he dejado de postear durante unos meses se debe principalmente a que he cambiado de casa y todo el lío que conlleva me ha dejado sin tiempo para pintar. Ahora, ya en mi sótano, con mucho más espacio es momento de ir ordenando poco a poco todo y de volver a las rutinas de pintura, así que para empezar voy a enseñaros la primera mini que pinto en mucho mucho tiempo.
Se trata del nuevo Bárbol que ha hecho Games Workshop. Personalmente decir que tiene un diseño muy bonito pero que me lo esperaba más grande, más impresionante. Lo he pintado de cara al torneo que se ha celebrado este pasado fin de semana en Úbeda, Jaén, el VI Torneo Por los Cerros de Úbeda, que mis buenos amigos Torrekampeño y Vilsenas han tenido a bien en organizar, siendo el primero tras el parón por la pandemia y al que en sus cinco ediciones anteirores no había podido ir.
Un gran ambiente y muchos participantes, hasta 56, muchos de los cuales no conocía y algunos sigo sin conocer, porque entre mascarillas y tantos jugadores con algunos no he podido ni intercambiar unas palabras. En cuanto a mi torneo... llevaba 5 ents, y entre mi pericia y unos escenarios muy peculiares me vuelvo con una sola victoria, un puesto número 40 y entre los primeros en pintura y personalizado, algo es algo, aunque a lo que iba era a ver a mis amigos, y en eso estuvo bastante bien la cosa, eché de menos a Narsil, Caminero o Duendegris, pero no se puede tener todo.

The reason why I have stopped posting for a few months is mainly because I have moved house and all the mess it entails has left me with no time to paint. Now, in my basement, with much more space, it is time to sort everything little by little and go back to painting routines, so to begin I'm going to show you the first mini I've painted in a long, long time.
This is the new Treebeard made by Games Workshop. Personally to say that it has a very beautiful design but that I expected it to be bigger, more impressive. I have painted it for the tournament that was held this past weekend in Úbeda, Jaén, the VI Tournament Por los Cerros de Úbeda, which my good friends Torrekampeño and Vilsenas have seen fit to organize, being the first after the break due to the pandemic and to which in its five previous editions it had not been able to go.
A great atmosphere and many participants, up to 56, many of whom I did not know and some I still do not know, because between masks and so many players with some I have not even been able to exchange a few words. As for my tournament ... I had 5 ents, and between my expertise and some very peculiar scenarios I come back with a single victory, a position number 40 and among the first in paint and custom, something is something, although what I was going for It was to see my friends, and that was pretty good, I missed Narsil, Caminero or Gray Goblin, but you can't have everything.
