UMBAR'S CORSAIRS 07

Finalmente ya tengo pintadas diez minis de Corsarios de Umbar, entre ayer y antes de ayer logré acabar a la Corsaria y al último, tengo dos empezados y casi acabados realmente, pero voy a cerrar aquí por el momento la compañía.

Estos son los últimos cuatro en unirse a las fuerzas de Umbar.

Como veréis hay un poco de todo, minis de GW, de Black Scorpion y de Foundry, con bastante equilibrio, y es que al final me he animado con lo de cortar palitos de silicona caliente (en frío, eso sí), y mira, no han quedado mal.

Bueno, como tengo por costumbre, os cuento y enseño cada mini por separado.

El primero es el Corsario de Umbar, de Games Workshop. Decir que se me fue la cuchilla y le corté una oreja al estilo Van Gogh, pero bueno, no pasa nada.

Por último la que me quedaba de Foundry, aunque tengo más modelos y más repes, pero este era de los que imprimé para Marzo. Además le puse un saco de naranjas sobre el entarimado, para diferenciar la mini de las demás. El saco es clonado con Instand Mold e uno de Tabletop World.

Este fin de semana ha sido más provechoso de lo esperado. Ayer pinté otros 3 corsarios por la mañana, y por la tarde-noche otro más, aunque esté os lo presentaré en otra entrada en unos días.

This weekend has been more profitable than expected. Yesterday I painted three other pirates in the morning and the evening another, even if I introduce you in another post in a few days.

A continuación cada mini por separado.

Primero la que más me gusta de las tres a mí personalmente,la del corsario de las patillas con el pato en la base. Al final los palitos están hechos con silicona para pistola caliente, cortada con el cutter.

Por fin tengo algunas minis acabadas de los Corsarios de Umbar, ayer les pinté las caras a cuatro, y luego me di cuenta de que una llevaba pistolas... las cosas de usar piratas para El Señor de los Anillos... En fin, esta mañana he estado liado con las otras tres y están prácticamente acabadas.

Me gustan como han quedado, todavía tengo problemas con la peana del de azul, porque cede un poco, y no encuentro los palillos transparente finos para hacer de soporte, así que probablemente me contentaré con poner los tubos de los bolis BIC, que al menos son transparentes.

El pañuelo era blanco, pero entre que no lleva camisa y los pantalones marrón claro, un pañuelo blanco iba a ser demasiado así que volví al azul y le puse lunares azules, creo que ha quedado bastante bien.

El único problema lo que ya he contado de el soporte para que no se baje el entablado de madera, a ver si doy con una buena solución...

Vamos con las peanas. Ya tengo ocho acabadas, aunque aquí solo os enseño las cinco primeras, a falta, como siempre, de detalles. Por ejemplo ando buscando algo para sostener los tableros, puesto que casi siempre tienen un solo punto de apoyo, y quiero algo que no se note, algo transparaente y finito. He pensado en cilindros de como máximo un milímetro de diámetro, pero no sé dónde encontrar algo que me valga, si sabéis de algo, una ayuda por favor.

Ya tengo parte de las minis hechas, concretamente he conseguido acabar ya el agua de las peanas, solamente una pequeña parte del trabajo, pero bueno, algo es algo.

Para hacerlas primero usé Desert Sand de Vallejo para modelar el agua, con una lanceta de modelismo hice como olas, o eso intenté.

Luego una mezcla de Stegadon Scale Green y Blue Regal se marcan las olas, y luego con mezclas sucesivas añadiendo cada vez colores más claros y mediante pinceles secos en la cresta de las olas, se va consiguiendo el resultado final.

Los colores usados son el Hawk Turquoise, el Ice Blue y el Space Wolf Grey, mezcládolos entre ellos llegué al final.

Bueno, primero la foto de familia con todos los corsarios formando para la foto antes de entrar en batalla, una vez cortadas las pistolas y preparadas más o menos las peanas...

La cuerda está hecha, como en el resto de minis, con alambre trenzado a mano, y la madera es plasticard, además los maderos son los palitos de las matrices de las minis, todo casero, jeje.

Tendré que ponerle algo para no se baje sola, aunque cuando esté pegada aguantará mejor no quiero arriesgarme. He probado con el tubo de los bolígrafos BIC, pero no me convence, quiero algo menos llamativo, algo que se note menos, tiene que ser transparente y fuerte para ayudar en el soporte de las "maderas", a ver qué encuentro.

Esta es la nueva compañía para participar en El Desafio 2015 de Marzo, ni más ni menos que Piratas... bueno, Corsarios de Umbar, para los que voy a usar una mezcla de miniaturas de varias marcas: Games Workshop, Miniaturas del Castillo, Foundry Miniatures, Black Scorpion... de todo un poco, y como puede verse casan bien en cuanto a tamaños.
