Y sí, me ha dado tiempo a acabarlo para el final de mes, tras dos días en los que he podido trabajar un poco con los pinceles y sobre todo a que la peana la he acabado en tiempo récord y como yo quería, con el agua bajo las patas del Ent.

He usado la resina ultravioleta de Green Stuff World, y ha sido una pasada, con unos segundos bajo la luz de la linterna ultravioleta y seco y duro, una pasada. Con el trabajo que me costó en mi día para los espíritus de los muertos... uf... no quiero ni acordarme, y ahora en un segundo listo...

En fin, muy contento con el resultado, he cargado bastante la mini y sobre todo la peana, pero es que la quería así.

Voy fatal de tiempo para acabar con la compañía de este mes, hoy he conseguido dar por acabado a Birch el Árbol Gigante, la mini de Majestic Bear Miniatures, una preciosidad, la verdad es que me ha gustado mucho pintarla. Eso sí, la próxima vez que pinte un Ent, que va a ser en breve seguramente, monto todas las ramitas, que esta vez monté las principales y cuando ya lo tenía pintado todo he tenido que pegar las otras y pintarlas, un poco rollo, pero bueno, creo que ha quedado bien.

Pues segundo puesto en Julio con dos Ents, contento, me he quedado a dos puntos de una gran compañía, y recorto unas décimas al segundo en la Clasificación General, aunque el líder se va un poco más. A seguir pintando.

Justo el día antes de partir hacia Manchester, al Ardacon, recibí un paquetito que venía desde Alemania con el Troll de Ridgeback Miniatures, todo super rápido, el pago lo hice apenas dos días antes, así que tiempo récord.

La mini no pude verla tranquilamente hasta esta mañana cuando he estado montándola, un poco rollo porque es complicado, y pedí ayuda por Facebook a Rene, el autor, y me mandó fotos del proceso, pero no puede esperarme y cuando me llegaron ya la había montado yo, y más o menos está bien montada.

Hoy he vuelto a ir a la sede de la Asociación Torre de Dados y he estado allí un rato pintando. Además de meterle mano a las enredaderas del Ent de Majestic Bear, luego me he puesto un buen rato con Mórannach, el "ent" de Mierce Miniatures. He dado la capa base marrón oscuro a la zona de verde, y luego le he metido el verde en varias capas y a las ramas y raíces les he dado con varios marrones, además de dar una luz poniente al tronco que hace las veces de brazo derecho... en fin, que lo he dejado bien bosquejado para tener las ideas claras.

A decir verdad ya están acabados los orcos e incluso los dos Gothmog, pero vamos a ir subiendo poco a poco. Si soy sincero hasta tengo bastante avanzado uno de los dos Ents, el de Majestic Bear, que vengo ahora de darle un buen tute y está quedando bien, para mi gusto.

En fin, os dejo con los orcos, una conversión, la del portaestandarte, y los otros, uno que no es de Morannon, pero que he pintado para que lo sea. Creo que tengo que pintar unos cuantos escudos más para que vayan todos con escudo.

Además de los dos Ents, otra de las posibilidades para El Desafío de Agosto es pintar una compañía de Orcos de Morannon, con un estandarte conversionado a partir de un lancero, un Chamán, otro lancero y las dos versiones de Gothmog en wargo.

Los Gothmog en wargo es que me hacen falta para el Ardacon, uno al menos, y ya puestos pues prefiero pintar los dos a la vez para que el esquema cromático sea el mismo, sobre todo en cuanto a la piel, las ropas ya las he hecho muchas veces y se de memoria cómo van, pero la piel es diferente.

En fin, en unos días me decidiré.

Pues en Agosto parece que no voy a tener mucho tiempo, así que en vez de pintar ocho minis a pie he decidido seguir con los Ents, que al fin y al cabo son solo dos miniaturas, y para este mes he decidido volver a los de Mierce y comenzar con los de MajesticBear Miniatures.

A la izquierda tenemos a Mórannach, de Mierce Miniatures, del estilo de los que ya pinté hace un tiempo, pero de un tamaño mucho mayor, este sí que impone e infunde respeto. No sé si eliminar las calaveras que tiene como integradas en el cuerpo, para hacerlo más de la Luz y que no parezca un ser de las sombras...

A su derecha está el Birch Tree Giant, de Majestic Bear Miniatures, una figura muy buscada porque según tengo entendido ya no está en el mercado, una suerte haberme hecho con él hace ya tanto. De los tres modelos que poseo, es el que más me gusta. Hay por lo visto un cuarto Ent de Majestic Bear, pero la verdad es que ni lo sabía hace unos meses, y va a ser harto difícil localizarlo y pillarlo, pero bueno, al final di y pude conseguir el de Ziterdes que me faltaba, así que no pierdo la esperanza.
