Ayer recogí por fin seis miniaturas que mi amigo Caminero ha sacado de forma personal, son seis magníficas poses de Guardias del Patio del Manantial. Además de lo que se ve en las imágenes, vienen más escudos, brazos, lanzas, espadas... un pasote.

Mi única pega es quizás la cabeza, que veo un poco pequeña para semejante cuerpo, pero tengo que pintarlas y ya veremos si realmente son tan pequeñas...

Acabada la segunda miniatura de Morador de la Oscuridad. Me gusta como ha quedado, hoy he pintado al acompañante, una suerte de cría de Morador, que acompaña a la grande en sus fechorías. Y le he dado un repaso a la peana, que no me convencía en negro, ahora con los grises sí que me gusta también.

BLOOD BOWL. ENGANCHADO A UN NUEVO JUEGO

BLOOD BOWL. HITCHED TO A NEW GAME

Hace como tres semanas apareció Victor con la caja de Blood Bowl en la Asociación Torre de Dados que tenemos en Paradas para Ocio Alternativo. Tenía muchísimas ganas de meterle mano a este juego. Le veo muchas posibilidades, y aunque había medio visto una partida una vez en Dosdieciséis, no sabía jugar.

Entre Javi y Victor me enseñaron y han despertado en mi el gusanillo por este "noble" deporte, así que desde entonces he estado primero maquinando y luego ejecutando ideas para este Blood Bowl que tanto me ha gustado.

Primero me decidí a pillarme un par de equipos, que finalmente han sido tres, uno de Goblins, otro de Halfings y el último de Orcos, porque al parecer los dos primeros son bastante mediocres en el juego, y como empiece a jugar con un equipo que difícilmente gane uno puede aburrirse del juego, y no quiero que me pase con el Blood Bowl, así que metí Orcos también.

First I decided to catch a couple of teams, which have finally been three, one from Goblins, another from Halfings and the last from Orcs, because apparently the first two are quite mediocre in the game, and as I start playing with a team I can hardly get bored of the game, and I don't want it to happen to me with the Blood Bowl, so I got Orcs too.

Lo segundo lo tuve claro desde el principio: Conversionar las miniaturas, darles un toque personal y no tener dos jugadores repetidos. Empecé por esbozar ideas sobre los Goblins, ya os las iré mostrando, que las tengo en proceso de montaje aún, y luego me puse a tope con los Orcos, me hice con refuerzos para usarlos como bits y trozos para conversionar y este medio día he dado por finalizado o casi, la transformación del equipo.

Me queda aún el pintado y sobre todo, lo más importante para mí, elegir un nombre y una temática para estos Orcos. No sé si pintarlos al estilo Football americano (Irían de los Vikings de Minnesota, que es el equipo que me gusta), o hacerlo rollo equipo de fútbol, ante lo cual dudo en hacerme un Betis histórico o un Cádiz, que me tira más tener un Mágico González sobre el tablero con Carmelo "El Beckenbauher de la Bahía", "Ulises" Juan José, o Kiko... en fin, es lo que me queda para el esquema de color, o camisetas amarillas o verdiblancas con Gordillo al frente.

I do not know whether to paint them in the American Football style (They would go from the Minnesota Vikings, which is the team that I like), or do it football team roll, before which I doubt to become a historical Betis or a Cadiz, which throws me more to have a Magic Gonzalez on the board with Carmelo "El Beckenbauher de la Bahía", "Ulises" Juan José, or Kiko ... in short, it's what I have left for the color scheme, or yellow or green T-shirts with Gordillo in front .

Sobre las minis decir que he dejado una mas o menos como es, original, quizás con alguna adición de pinchos o algo parecido, y luego he conversionado con bits de los Ironjawz que me he pillado por Wallapop.

Tengo 3 Lanzadores, 3 Orcos Negros, 3 Corredores y 8 Placadores, me faltaría meter un Ogro, que me estoy pensando cuál podría ser, he visto una ballena muy interesante, pero aúno no me he decidido. Y claro, algún Goblin para complementar, pero eso vendrá más adelante.

Anoche finalmente me puse otro ratito delante de los pinceles y cogí el segundo de los Moradores, y su peana, un intento de que parezca salir de lo más profundo de al Tierra Media.

El esquema cromático que he usado es el mismo, y he ido haciendo fotos para hacer luego una Guía de Pintura de estas minis. A ver si me pongo, que estoy corto de tiempo últimamente.

Primer Morador de la Oscuridad que pinto. No está acabado, porque lo mismo le meto tinta Seraphin Sepia para darle un poco de brillo a la zona de fuego.

Y por fin ha comenzado Noviembre para ponerme a pintar mi compañía de este mes para El Desafío. Y como estoy liado con Moria quiero a ver si acabo el año con toda o casi toda la tropa de Moria pintada, al menos una pequeña representación de las distintas opciones de Moria. Me faltan ya pocas, y debía elegir entre esas, así que al final me he decidido por los Moradores de la Oscuridad, una suerte de pequeños Balrogs, que tengo muchos y la verdad es que pueden quedar muy bien.

Yo me he decidido por estos tres. Uno de ellos no es de Games Workshop, sino una Gárgola de Zealot Miniatures, pero que cuando la vi me pareció perfecta para ser un Morador de la Oscuridad alternativo.

Además he añadido unas cuantas Furias del nuevo juego de Games Workshop, Warcry, en cuanto las vi pensé que eran perfectas para ser Moradores de la Oscuridad, pero tienen un tamaño muy pequeño, por lo que habría que agruparlas para que pasasen por esta unidad de Moria... o añadirlas a otras.

Y luego he estado liado con las peanas, una la he dejado tal cual, y las otras dos sí que las he trabajado, sobre todo la del centro, que va a estar como sobre roca con forma de aguja, quiero meter una especie de magma en el fondo de la peana, a ver qué tal queda.

I have decided on these three. One of them is not from Games Workshop, but a Gargoyle from Zealot Miniatures, but when I saw her I thought it was perfect to be an alternative Dweller of Darkness.

I have also added a few Furies of the new Games Workshop game, Warcry, as soon as I saw them I thought they were perfect to be Dwellers of Darkness, but they have a very small size, so they would have to be grouped to go through this unit of Moria ... or add them to others.
