Las Hispania son uno de los mejores eventos a los que he asistido, sí, es cierto que viajo poco, pero la verdad es que me gustan cada vez más estas jornadas dedicadas a los juegos de mesa, cada vez se disfrutan más y hay más actividades: Demostraciones de juegos, donde aprendes a jugar a algunas cosas a las que normalmente uno no tiene acceso en casa, o ver minis y mesas donde se recrean batallas, escenografías brutales, concurso de pintura, y sobre todo la gente, esa gente a la que también les gustan las miniaturas y los juegos de mesa.

Y claro, también está la gran oportunidad de hacerte con productos directamente del fabricante, o en mi caso, simplemente tiendas, ya que donde vivo no hay nada de eso, y comprar por internet no es lo mismo.

En esta ocasión no he pillado nada de Black Scorpion, mi tienda fetiche los dos últimos años, pero sí de otras como The Vinny Brothers, MOM Miniatures, de la tienda Eminis, de Punkapocalyptic, etc...

Sus minis son principalmente para Fantasy, pero tiene algunas cosas que para los seguidores de ESDLA nos vienen de perlas, como su escenografía enana, su estatua enana y esas columnas de Moria, claro, piqué y me traje un par de cada, y seguramente no sea la única adquisición. Estuvimos charlando un rato con él y sobre todo le pedimos que hiciera minis para ESDLA y El Hobbit, asegurándole que tendrían salida, que hay mucha gente deseando pillar novedades de El Hobbit, sean o no de GW, ya que es GW la que ha dejado el juego en punto muerto, así que hay un amplio catálogo por cubrir, teniendo cuidado con los derechos, eso sí, en fin, a ver si en un futuro se anima con cosas, porque MOM no es el único que puede explorar esa parte del mercado (Y pronto habrá novedades en el blog al respecto... ¡sorpresa!).

Hace ya un par de semanas que comenzó la temporada de torneos de la Liga La Guerra del Anillo 2016, y como comenzaba en Sevilla no podía faltar, así que preparé mi nuevo ejército de Gundabad y me fui a la tienda DosDieciséis a participar en el torneo.

LAS PARTIDAS

Durante la partida me limité a ir haciendo lo que decía Arlong, aprender siempre viene bien, y aunque teníamos la partida encarrilada (Eliminamos 2 trolls y una herida de un tercero en la primera ronda de combates), el cortar para ir a comer hizo que a la vuelta casi se nos revelaran, pero al final logramos la victoria.

CONCLUSIONES

El ambiente muy bueno, gente nueva a la que no conocía y otra a la que ya conocía pero no veía desde febrero del año pasado, como Mario o Isma (bueno, a éste desde octubre en Loja), además hubo varios que vinieron a mirar y con los que estuve charlando para ver si se enganchaban a jugar y demás, además de a la campaña que se está preparando en Sevilla.

En cuanto a las partidas y el juego, yo como siempre, nefasto, no consigo puntos ni a la de tres. Necesito mejorar bastante para intentar ser un poco más competitivo, no salir al ataque como un loco.

La parte buena fue que me llevé el premio al Ejército Mejor Conversionado, uno más. Y que como siempre el ambiente sigue siendo muy bueno entre todos los participantes.

Y poco más, que hay que currarse más la partidas.

CONCLUSIONS

Pues antes de irme a las Hispania he acabado la compañía para El Desafío 2016 de Febrero, una de Milicianos de la Ciudad de Lago.

El resultado... no estoy del todo contento, iba bien de tiempo, pero últimamente he estado muy liado y ni las peanas lucen como debieran después de diez o doce capas, ni los escudos están rematados como debían tampoco, pero bueno, se salvan en general, creo.

Los dos que faltaban para completar la compañía. El de la izquierda es de RedBox Miniatures, podría pasar por uno de los pocos con conocimientos de guerra en la ciudad ya que lleva espada y escudo. En el escudo he pintado una especie de emblema de la Ciudad de Lago, unas ondas de agua y tres casas.

El de la derecha es de Fireforge, no es una mini tan detallada como la otra, pero creo que vale perfectamente. El casco lo he pintado a semajanza de los de las minis de GW que llevan uno parecido.
