FANGORN

Aprovechando la vuelta de las Freak Wars, y antes de guardar todo lo que me llevé a Madrid en las estanterías y vitrinas, me he puesto a fotografiar algunas, concretamente empecé con mis Ents, para tenerlos todos bien localizados, así que tengo mi ejército de Fangorn listo. Son 30 pastores de árboles, con solo uno repetido, aunque pintado de forma diferente.

Taking advantage of the return of the Freak Wars, and before putting everything I took to Madrid on the shelves and display cases, I started photographing some of them, specifically I started with my Ents, to have them all well located, so I have my army of Fangorn ready. There are 30 tree shepherds, with only one repeated, although painted differently.

Comenzamos con un par de Barbol, modelo antiguo y modelo nuevo.

We start with a pair of Treebeard, old model and new model.

A continuación unos cuantos de Ents de Games Workshop, igualmente modelo antiguos de metal, con diferentes configuraciones, y los de plástico más nuevos.

Below are a few Ents from Games Workshop, also older metal models, with different configurations, and newer plastic ones.

 

 

Este está hecho con los antiguos de Games Workshop y un cuerpo de Barbol, todo mezcladito para que parezca diferente.

This one is made with old Games Workshop ones and a Barbol body, all mixed together to make it look different.

 

También de Games Workshop es este Ramaviva.

Also from Games Workshop is this Quickbeam.

 

Seguimos con los tres de Ziterdes, bastante complicados de conseguir y que pillé, los tres, casi de casualidad.

We continue with the three from Ziterdes, quite difficult to obtain and which I caught, all three, almost by chance.

 

 

Cambiamos de marca. De Majestic Bear Miniatures son estos tres, también casi imposibles de conseguir ahora mismo.

We changed brands. From Majestic Bear Miniatures are these three, also almost impossible to get right now. 

 

 

 

Seguimos con un grupo de marcas variadas, no recuerdo cuáles, pero van bien de tamaño y sirven a la perfección para aumentar la variedad del ejército.

We continue with a group of varied brands, I don't remember which ones, but they fit well in size and serve perfectly to increase the variety of the army.

 

 

 

 

 

Con unas cuantas de ramas cogidas por el campo, algo de masilla verde, espuma, piedrecitas, y alguna pieza suelta de los de GW se pueden crear más Ents...

With a few branches collected from the field, some green putty, foam, pebbles, and some loose pieces from GW you can create more Ents...

 

 

 

Y si no, a tirar de la impresión 3D, yo por ahora solo tengo este de resina 3D.

And if not, let's start with 3D printing, for now I only have this 3D resin one.

 

Y para acabar unos Ents especiales, que no son realmente hombres árbol, sino más bien Ucornos, o algo parecido. Son de Mierce Miniatures, y la verdad es que me gustan muchísimo, dando un variedad más extendida.

And to finish some special Ents, who are not really tree men, but rather Ucorns, or something similar. They are from Mierce Miniatures, and the truth is that I really like them, giving a more extensive variety.

 

 

 

 

Y a falta de pintar un par más de Mierce que tengo guardados, de montar otro Barbol de los antiguos para modificarlo y hacer uno nuevo,  y de ir consiguiendo alguno que otro que he visto en 3D, este es por ahora mi gran ejército de Fangorn del que tan orgulloso estoy.

And in the absence of painting a couple more of Mierce that I have saved, of assembling another of the old Barbol to modify it and make a new one, and of getting some that I have seen in 3D, this is for now my great Fangorn army of which I am so proud.
