Siempre me han gustado los coches en miniatura, quizás porque de pequeño mi padre me compraba uno de vez en cuando, y me pasaba las horas jugando en mi cuarto enmoquetado, o en el patio del recreo del cole con mis amigos, haciendo caminitos con las mano en la arena y luego jugando con los coches.

La cosa es que nunca se pasó eso, y hace un tiempo compraba algunos de los coches que salían en las colecciones de los quioscos, por lo general compraba el número 1, el que salía de oferta a un precio barato, y poco más, como mucha gente.

Pero desde hace un tiempo, y quizás por el Gaslands, empecé a hacerme con una pequeña colección de coches, en principio para pintarlos y conversionarlos para el juego de Gaslands, juego de coches postapocalíptico, pero en mi caso a escala 1:43 en vez de la escala de los HotWheels, que son conches con poco detalle.

Y luego de pintar unos cuantos que están en este blog, empecé a no tener tiempo para pintar y sí para adquirir, así que ahora cuento con un buen garaje, nada ostentoso, pero ya con unos cuantos, que voy a ir mostrando por aquí, como otro de mis hobis. No, no están pintados como todo o casi todo lo que aparece por el blog, pero es otra de mis pasiones, y tengo ganas de compartirla.

Comienzo con este Aston Martin Vanquish V12, que es el que tengo catalogado como el primero de la colección, aunque hubo otros antes, que acabaron destrozados por mi hijo o mis sobrinos, o por mi para hacer alguna que otra barricada de Gaslands.

Este Aston Martin gris metalizado pertenece a la colección Dream Cars que apareció en España en 2006. Es el número 1 de la colección, de la Editorial Altaya y fabricado por IXO.

I have always liked miniature cars, perhaps because when I was little my father bought me one from time to time, and I spent hours playing in my carpeted room, or in the school playground with my friends, making little paths with the hand in the sand and then playing with the cars. 

 The thing is, that never happened, and some time ago I bought some of the cars that appeared in the kiosk collections, I generally bought the number 1, the one that was on sale at a cheap price, and little else, like Many people. 

 But for some time now, and perhaps because of Gaslands, I started to get a small collection of cars, initially to paint and convert them for the Gaslands game, a post-apocalyptic car game, but in my case at 1:43 scale instead of the scale of the HotWheels, which are conches with little detail. 

 And after painting a few that are on this blog, I began to not have time to paint and to acquire, so now I have a good garage, nothing flashy, but already with a few, which I am going to show here, Like another one of my hobbies. No, they are not painted like everything or almost everything that appears on the blog, but it is another of my passions, and I want to share it.  

I start with this Aston Martin Vanquish V12, which is the one that I have cataloged as the first in the collection, although there were others before that ended up destroyed by my son or my nephews, or by me to make the occasional Gaslands barricade.  

This metallic gray Aston Martin belongs to the Dream Cars collection that appeared in Spain in 2006. It is number 1 of the collection, from Editorial Altaya and manufactured by IXO.
