EAGLES

Una vez acabada la tarea con los Ents me dispongo a comenzar un nuevo mes y una nueva formación. Como no tengo ganas de muchos detalles he estado mirando lo que tengo por aquí a mano, ya que el grueso de cajas y bistres lo tengo en el sótano de otra casa, y he visto que había unos cuantos águilas en una de las vitrinas, esperando a ser pintadas, así que las he fregado y a ver si entre esta tarde y mañana puedo imprimarlas en negro, aunque dos ya lo están. Hay dos de GW (las dos imprimadas), y cuatro de Gamezone, una marca española que por desgracia ha quedado marcada por lo del Heroquest 25 Aniversario. Pero bueno, estos águilas metálicos están chulísimos, y con unas poses espectaculares. Por cierto, que me tengo que poner a buscar peanas de 60 mm como un loco.

Tampoco en marzo he participado en El Desafío, por este mes continuaba sin ganas de pintar, vaya como han cambiado las cosas en abril...

En fin, bastantes participantes y unas cuantas de compañías muy buenas. El ganador ha sido Rickvendell, con una compañía de criaturas de Angmar, con un Gulhavâr muy interesante, no recuerdo ahora la marca, pero habrá que tenerla en cuenta.

Hoy me he puesto un rato y ya tengo listo el Ent que he hecho desde un árbol del bosque Citadel. Pintado en tonos marrones no muy oscuros, pero huyendo ya de los marrones claros. Y luego he metido mucho follaje en las ramas, quería que tuviera mucho volumen. Y en la peana he puesto muchos matojos de diferentes tonos, pero claros, para hacer contraste con el Ent.

Esta tarde he pintado el décimo, el que había conversionado a partir de un Ent metálico de GW y he añadido brazos, dos cabezas, cambiado la postura de las piernas... y para rematarlo lo he pintado clarito, para que se vela la difernecia con los otros, con hojas en tonos anaranjados y agua en la peana.

Esta mañana en un rato he acabado de pintar el primero de los Ent metálicos que tenía preparados e imprimados en negro.

He puesto verdes sobre las ramas y troncos para evitar que fuese igual al que ya tengo pintado. Y además este no lleva ningún tipo de follaje, así se distinguen mejor.

Anoche preparé las peanas, a excepción del Ent pequeño, me quedé sin pegamento y he tenido que esperar a esta mañana para poder pinearlo y colocarlo en su sitio. En las peanas mucho corcho, algo de corteza de árbol que tenía guardada, como siempre, de algún viajecito, y corcho triturado a modo de arena.

Y hoy me he puesto con la masilla, he pegado al pequeño en su sitio y he cubierto los huecos con masilla, además de modelar un poco en el Ent grande, ahora todo listo para imprimar en negro y mañana quizás comenzar a pintarlos.

Ayer no cogí las miniaturas, estuve descansando del hobby. Eso sí, tuve que ir a la obra y aproveché para buscar en el sótano las cajitas de Ents que había llevado hace unas semanas, para liberar sitio de encima de las estanterías aquí en casa, pero tras un buen rato buscando solo encontré las de los dos Ents de metal, pero no la del Ent de plástico, que claro, era la que iba buscando, así que ese tendrá que esperar, sobre todo porque el sótano está patas arriba con la obra, me doy con un canto en los dientes de haber podido encontrar estos dos.

La cosa es que anoche los lavé y cepillé para dejarlos listos y luego hoy me he puesto a montarlos. He sacado todas las piezas y m ehe puesto a montar. He conseguido  sacar dos bastantes diferentes, y mi sorpresa ha sido mayúscula al ver que sobran brazos, cabezas... tengo un par de cabezas y cuatro brazos para conversionar otros cuerpos...

He montado uno siguiendo el esquema clásico de Games Workshop, siendo diferente al que ya tengo pintado. Le he cambiado los brazos y la cara, para que sea distinto. Y luego he montado otro usando las piezas que me ha dado la gana, por ejemplo las dos caras una sobre la otra, manipulando las piernas para colocarlo en una postura más esbelta, y a la falta de añadir alguna rama por la espalda, lo he dejado listo.

Me gusta como han quedado, aunque como digo, aún tengo que ver si les añado alguna rama por la espalda o algún sitio, y luego hay que añadir un poco de masilla verde para tapar huecos de las uniones de brazos, etc...

Y luego con un árbol de plástico del bosque Citadel y dos ramitas que tenía guardadas de mis escapadas al campo, he montado un tercer Ent, la verdad es que me gusta mucho como ha quedado.

Pues eso, que desde que empezó abril me he puesto a pintar ents y estoy que me salgo, con este creo que he pintado en los últimos días ni más ni menos que 7.

El de hoy era uno de los que menos me gustaban, la verdad es que lo de los cuatro brazos no me encajaba, no tenía ningunas ganas de pintarlo, pero el otro día mi amigo Shagrat pintó el suyo y le quedó muy chulo, así que aunque lo he dejado para el último de esta tanda, hoy lo he cogido y hasta que no lo he terminado no he parado.

He seguido los consejos de Shagrat en cuanto al follaje, y al final hasta me gusta como ha quedado.

Colores marrones sin ser muy oscuros pero sobre todo evitando los marrones claros. Mi única duda era la de ponerle verde o no, y finalmente sin verde, me gusta más así, desnudo, con todas esas ramas y esa cara de malo...

Llevo un par de días trabajando con el Troll de plástico. Lo compré hace ya tiempo y venía pintado y conversionado, le he cambiado de postura las piernas y brazos y he empezado repintar. El orco partido por la mitad que recibe la patada sí que venía así conversionado, pero loe he dado volumen por la parte de dentro y además he hecho los intestinos, aunque se le van a salir por la espalda, en vez de por delante, es que tienen un esqueleto diferente estos orcos, jeje.

Me queda aún por darle unas cuantas de capas en la corteza, a ver si hoy tengo un ratito y puedo dejarlo medio acabado.

PRIMERAS CAPAS

Ayer por la tarde empecé con el super Ent, primeras capas para ir dándole el aspecto que quiero.

Comencé por las piedras, tras imprimarlo todo en negro y dejarlo secar adecuadamente me puse con los grises.

Saqué mi batería de grises, más el negro y el blanco y comencé a dar capas, solo las piedras que lleva en el cuerpo.

Cuando las tuve más o menos como quería me puse con la zona verdosa, e hice lo mismo: Elegí unos cuantos de los botes de pintura en tonos verdes y desde el más oscuro elegido hasta el más claro, acabando con uno casi amarillo, me dediqué a dar capas finas para ir aplicando volumen a la masa verdosa.

Para acabar cogí unos cuantos de los marrones más claros para la parte de madera, y es que no quiero que tenga un tono oscuro en la madera, en las imágenes que he visto o me imagino de esta miniatura la veo con tonos claros, marrones claros, casi beiges...

En fin, que tras perfilar con los marrones y un poco de retoques con los verdes la cosa está así ahora mismo. Creo que voy por el buen camino, y que quizás hoy sábado pueda acabarlo, a ver cómo se da el día...

To finish I took a few of the lightest browns for the wooden part, and I don't want it to have a dark tone on the wood, in the images that I have seen or imagine of this miniature I see it with light tones, light browns , almost beige ...

Anyway, after profiling with the browns and a little touch-up with the greens, things are like this right now. I think I am on the right track, and that perhaps today Saturday I can finish it, to see how the day happens ...

Después de haber pintado en estos días cuatro Ents para hoy me he propuesto preparar otro, uno grande de verdad, concretamente a Crémharunc, una "mini" de Mierce Miniatures, de la gama Érainn... ya tengo pintados varios Ents de esta gama, unos pequeñines y luego uno muy grande, pero este es el jefe...

Tengo el problema de la base, porque no entra en la de 65mm ni por casualidad, así que habrá que hacer algo para que entre, es decir, subirlo a algún tipo de roca o así...

La verdad es que lo he acabado antes de lo previsto, ha sido muy rápido, y el resultado me satisface, es diferente, he puesto bastantes matas como de musgo, de Gamers Grass, muy buen producto, por cierto. El pintado ha sido con marrones oscuros como para que sea de una zona con mucha humedad y por eso lo del musgo... En la peana hierbas altas para diferenciarlo de otros, y una roca aplanada para darle un toque de color.

Ayer pinté otro Ent, esta vez en colores muy claros, no estaba muy convencido de ello, pero al final creo que lo voy a dejar así. Para integrarlo un poco más le puse en la peana tonos claros también, pero con un pequeño toque de color marrón-amarillento.

No recuerdo de qué marca es la miniatura, que tiene un tamaño similar al del Ent metálico de Games Workshop, así que casa perfectamente con los que ya tengo, que son un buen puñado...

A ver si hoy puedo pintar el cuarto de los que imprimé el fin de semana.

Pues este es el segundo, Linden el Gigante, de la misma marca. Con un tono bastante más clarito que el anterior y sobre todo un lío ponerle todas las ramitas pequeñitas y las hojas puestas de una en una... otro lío.
