Mientras espero a que llegue Noviembre para empezar la compañía para El Desafío de noviembre estoy con ganas de pintar, y he aprovechado para ir quitándome cosas que tenía empezadas, el otro día acabé las 6 tiendas de campaña del Campamento Orco, y justo al lado tenía nueve miniaturas de Orcos de Morannon empezadas, con solo la capa base de las ropas rojas, así que me puse ayer con el metalizado y demás y por la noche conseguí acabarlas enteras, y eso que tuve un día complicado, pero bueno, saqué tiempo y lo he conseguido.

Segundo puesto en El Desafío y Primer puesto en El Desafío Conversiones. No puedo pedir más, la verdad es que en las conversiones sí me esperaba una buena posición, porque me he currado esa compañía bastante, al menos, para mi gusto y conocimiento tenía bastante trabajo encima.

En cuanto al segundo puesto en El Desafío lo veo demasiado bien puntuado. Mi favorita era una vez más la compañía de Turoinar, pero de nuevo he cosechado más puntos, no sé, no lo veo.

Pues sí, acabados, aunque estoy pensando en currarme un poco más las transiciones de la piel, lo mismo me pongo de aquí al fin de mes y las pongo más suaves, aunque no sé si voy a tener tiempo para ello. En principio los doy por acabados una vez hechas las penas, simples, pero las quería así, y la oxidación de las armaduras. Cogí a este grandullón y por la mañana le di la capa base de metales, y luego ya por la tarde me puse con la piel, por la noche di las tintas y unos cuantos detalles, falta aún bastante, sobre todo lo de oxidar las armaduras, pero bueno, eso lo tenía previsto, quería hacerlo en los dos trolls a la vez, igual que con las peanas.

Tras buscar bastante por la web encontré unos cuantos de Trolls de Gundabad pintados con la piel clarita, y la verdad es que viendo las imágenes de la película y de los libros de arte sobre la trilogía es verdad que tienen la piel clara, nada de ese precioso azul oscuro que le ponen en la página de GW, así que me decidí a hacer algo así.

En vez de un color marroncito claro he ido a por uno tirando para verde, muy claro, pero verdoso, y la verdad es que estoy satisfecho con como va, aún no está acabado, creo que le voy a meter sombras con algún lila o azulado, y además aún falta lo que más quiero hacer, oxidar la armadura, además de retocar las uñas, y la peana claro, pero eso será cuando estén los dos acabados, para que los colores casen.

Hago un paréntesis con Moria y voy a pintar dos Trolls de Gundabad, miniaturas exageradas, grandísimas, pero que creo que se pintarán bien, mucho metal para hacer perrerías con lavados y efectos, y luego una piel uniforme, no parece muy complicado, aunque ya veremos luego.
