DONE THE WORK OF CONVERSION IN THE BLACK SHIELDS OF MORIA
Creo que puedo dar por acabado el trabajo con la masilla, el cúter y demás. He conseguido más o menos lo que quería con las miniaturas de las que partí, ocho Escudos Negros de Moria que hagan mi ejército diferente, en unas miniaturas de serie de GW que son bastante difíciles de transformar por lo tocho que son.
I think I can finish the job with putty, cutter and so on. I have achieved more or less what I wanted with the miniatures from which I left, eight Black Shields of Moria that make my army different, in a series of GW series miniatures that are quite difficult to transform.
Voy a ir desgranando cada miniatura, para que las conversiones queden lo más claro posible.
El primero es este, conversionado a partir del Merodeador de Moria con el hacha a dos manos arriba, al que le he quitado la hoja del hacha y he separado las piernas para poder reposiciones una de ellas de forma que al colocarlo sobre este corcho parezca que va a saltar, le he pintado un clip para hacer la lanza que va a clavar a algún desdichado enemigo. Y bueno, lo último ha sido esculpir la capa peluda, una gozada hacerla, porque es bastante fácil, y si tienes un poco de maña queda muy bien. Es una de mis conversiones favoritas de este grupo.

And well, the last thing has been to sculpt the hairy cape, a joy to do it, because it is quite easy, and if you have a bit of skill it looks great. It is one of my favorite conversions of this group.
Al siguiente Rastreador Orco le he quitado de un plumazo el arco, que será sustituido por una espada en breve. Además el trabajo de esculpido con la masilla verde ha sido doble, por un lado la capa de pelo, y además en el faldón he intentado (ha sido el primero, se nota) hacerle un faldón de cota de malla...

El tercero es un simple Orco de Moria, pero de los metálicos, que eran un poco más robustos. En este caso solo he añadido la capa de pelo, el resto creo que sale bastante bien parado, con el casco, que es parecido al de los Escudos Negros, y no me he atrevido a ponerle cota de malla, demasiadas cosas en la barriga para intentarlo.
The third is a simple Orc de Moria, but of the metallic ones, which were a bit more robust. In this case I have only added the coat of hair, the rest I think comes out quite well, with the helmet, which is similar to that of the Black Shields, and I have not dared to put chainmail, too many things in the belly to try it

Este es uno de los más complicados, porque partimos de una posición un tanto rara, es el Rastreador que lleva el arco sobre la cabeza, o mejor dicho, ambas manos muy altas. Eliminé el arco y luego he doblado ambos brazos, para recolocarlos. Taladré las dos manos y he puesto un clip al que tengo aún que texturizar para hacerlo más grueso y que sea el cabo de la lanza. Una capa de masilla verde que deja a la vista la cara, creo que es lo mejor de la mini, y luego he cortado abajo para tener libres las piernas, y he subido la de atrás para colocarla en posición más que amenazante, creo que ha quedado bastante bien.

Tenía un Dûrburz a medio pintar por ahí suelto, y me he dicho, pues vamos a cogerlo para tener un Capitán de los Escudos Negros de Moria, y ahí está, reposición de los brazos, para que no coincida con el Dûrburz que tengo pintado, y luego la capa de pelo más la piedra, para hacer que parezca que está sobre una colina presto a atacar o mandar que ataquen sus secuaces...

Un simple Orco de Moria de plástico, con arco, ha sido el punto de partida de esta conversión, luego mucha masilla, para la capa y para un faldón que intentaba fuera de duelas de metal, pero que no ha quedado exactamente como quería. Por supuesto el arco lo ha perdido y llevará una espada o cuchillo además de los escudos que iré repartiendo a diestro y siniestro por todas las minis.
A simple plastic Orc of Moria, with an arch, has been the starting point of this conversion, then a lot of putty, for the cape and for a skirt that was trying out of metal staves, but that has not been exactly as I wanted.
