Esta semana pasada he estado muy liado con dos eventos en lo que he estado, uno organizándolo yo mismo desde cero, y el otro presentando un stand, pero empecemos por el principio.

Llevo ya varios años queriendo exponer mis miniaturas en el Instituto donde trabajo, para ver si consigo enganchar a algunos chicos y chicas a jugar a juegos de mesa y quitarlos de la calle, pero nunca doy el paso definitivo, por fin este año me he decidido y los pasados jueves y viernes hice la exposición en mi aula, aprovechando que mis alumnos están realizando la FCT.

This past week I've been very busy with two events in which I have been, one organizing it myself from scratch, and the other presenting a stand, but first things first.

I've been several years wanting to show my miniatures at the Institute where I work, to see if I engage in some boys and girls to play games and to remove them from the street, but never give the definitive step finally I decided this year and the last Thursday and Friday did the exhibition in my classroom, taking advantage of my students are doing the FCT.

La verdad es que podía haber venido más gente, pero bueno, eran solo dos días, con escasez de momentos para mostrar las minis y hay mucha gente que no la ha visto.

Mi intención es montar en el centro un Aula de Juego a modo de anexo a la Biblioteca, todo para el curso que viene, y claro, quería saber si tendría aceptación o no, y parece que los chavales están interesados, así que lo mismo el curso que viene me animo y lo monto.

The truth is that more people could have been, but hey, it was only two days, with a shortage of time to show the minis and many people have not seen.

Eso fue el jueves y viernes pasados, y para el domingo tenía la IV Feria del Coleccionismo de Paradas, así que el viernes estuve quitando las minis y el sábado vuelta a montar, pero ahora con otras colecciones que tengo.

That was on Thursday and Friday, and Sunday was the IV Collectibles Feria in  Paradas, so Friday was removing the minis and reassembled on Saturday, but now I have other collections.

Esta "exhibición" sí que ha sido un fracaso (si bien parcial), ya que ha ido muy  poca gente, se había publicitado escasamente, el horario era infame, y coincidió con varios eventos que nos restaron afluencia, pero bueno, todo se andará y el año que viene intentaremos montarlo mejor.

Había sellos, monedas, billetes de lotería, radios antiguas, juguetes caseros, etc... Mi stand era una pequeña representación de mis colecciones, desde los aviones de la I Guerra Mundial de Wings of War, pasando por las naves de X-Wing, a parte de mi colección de Bandas Sonoras, o la de mi hijo de Coches de Cars, a las Miniaturas, que ocupaban la mayor parte de mi zona.

This "exhibition" itself has been a (albeit partial) failure since has very few people had barely publicized, time was infamous, and coincided with several events that we subtracted influx, but hey, everything will come and next year we will try to ride better.

There were Stamps, coins, lottery tickets, antique radios, homemade toys, etc ... My stand was a small representation of my collections, from airplanes of World War Wings of War, passing ships X-Wing , apart from my collection of soundtracks, or the collection of my son about Disney Cars, the miniatures, which occupied most of my area.

En fin, no ha estado tan mal sacar las minis de las vitrinas y mostrar lo friki que uno puede ser siendo más o menos normal... y ya lo dice el dicho: El que no sea friki que saque la espada laser.
