EL DESAFÍO 2020. MAY

Tras un mes de junio bastante tranquilo vuelvo a la acción, a ver si me prodigo más por aquí. Para empezar algo que tenía en el debe, subir mi análisis de El Desafío de mayo.

Participé con una compañía de 6 Grandes Águilas, me gusta como quedaron, la verdad. Al final tercero, y es que hay dos usuarios que son la caña. Impresionante la compañía de Rickvendell y la de CptCarlos. Sin comentarios.

Así que he cogido el que tengo original, y he cogido tres minis que creo que quedarán muy bien como Merodeadores wargo, eso sí, tengo que pintar muchos Orcos de Moria...

Listo, ya está acabado, en tres días lo he dejado listo, la verdad es que como pensaba es rápido de pintar, y si no fuera por las malditas aspas que se llevan un buen rato con tanta cuerda y maderas y abrazaderas metálicas sería aún más rápido. En fin, espero que os guste.

MOLINO DE VIENTO

Hoy he estado en la parcela de mis suegros, y en vez de bañarme en la piscina antes de que se pusiera a llover, me llevé el Molino de Viento de Tabletop World para ver si me ponía un rato a pintar, y nada mas llegar lo imprimé negro para luego ponerme a darle textura con los grises y pintar lo primero de la techumbre... así lo he dejado, me dio tiempo hasta de empezar a pintar los cristales de las ventanas.

Today I was in my parents-in-law's plot, and instead of bathing in the pool before it started to rain, I took the Tabletop World Windmill to see if I would start painting for a while, and as soon as I got there I printed black and then started to give it texture with the grays and paint the first of the roof ... that's how I left it, it gave me time to start painting the window panes.

Ayer tuve una llamada de un amigo del hobby, Minethor, y hasta hoy no he podido hablar con él. Me dice que hay un concurso de pintura de escenografía que organiza Tabletop World, y que acaba el plazo mañana, que me presente con la Casa del Mercader que pinté la semana pasada.

Le he dicho que ya lo sabía pero que mi nivel no da para competir ahí, he visto los ganadores de otros años y son una auténtica pasada, son dioramas, con muchísimos detalles, y es ahí donde me ha dicho que hay una categoría de Modelos singulares, es decir, un único modelo, sin adiciones. Eso no lo sabía, así que he hecho caso de Minethor y he sacado nuevas fotos y acabo de mandarlo, a ver si hay suerte.

Yesterday I had a call from a hobby friend, Minethor, and until today I have been unable to speak to him. He tells me that there is a scenography painting contest organized by Tabletop World, and that the deadline ends tomorrow, that I present myself with the Casa del Mercader that I painted last week.

I have told him that I already knew it but that my level does not give to compete there, I have seen the winners of other years and they are an authentic past, they are dioramas, with many details, and it is there where he has told me that there is a category of Models singular, that is, a single model, without additions. I did not know that, so I listened to Minethor and took new photos and I just sent it, to see if there is luck.

EL DESAFÍO 2020. APRIL

En abril volví a participar en El Desafío, y es que me vi pintando hasta doce Ents, quedé bastante contento con el resultado, e incluso pensé en aspirar a ganar el mes, pero viendo luego los trabajos era imposible superar a Rickvendell, y finalmente he quedado cuarto.

Esta es mi entrada, y luego os pongo un par de las que más me han gustado.

In April I returned to participate in El Desafío, and I saw myself painting up to twelve Ents, I was quite happy with the result, and I even thought about aspiring to win the month, but seeing after the works it was impossible to beat Rickvendell, and finally I have left fourth.

This is my entry, and then I put a couple of the ones that I liked the most.

En El Desafío Conversiones sí que me he llevado el primer puesto, hice bastantes conversiones, un par de ellas desde cero, así que creo que está bien la cosa.

In El Desafío Conversiones, I did take first place, I did quite a few conversions, a couple of them from scratch, so I think it is fine.

CAPITÁN DE LOS TRASGOS

GOBLINS CAPTAIN

Por fin me he podido sentar para pintar la peana del Capitán de los Trasgos, así que ya tengo una nueva unidad para La Ciudad Bajo la Montaña, un digno esbirro del Rey de los Trasgos.

Finally I was able to sit down to paint the base of the Goblins Captain, so I already have a new unit for The City Under the Mountain, a worthy minion of the King of the Goblins.
