NEWS FROM FREAKWARS
El pasado fin de semana estuve en Madrid para visitar las Freakwars, un evento que la verdad me dejó muy buen sabor de boca.
En un principio mi intención era ir para ver todo lo que habría allí, miniaturas de muchas y diversas marcas, con bastante presencia extranjera, y luego intentar participar en alguna partida de demostración tipo Gaslands o Punkapocalyptic, pero finalmente lo que más hice fue apoyar a La Guerra del Anillo en el stand que teníamos preparado.
Los madrileños de La Guerra del Anillo se encargaron de montar el stand, y cuando llegamos el sábado por la mañana, tras dormir en casa de Luis "Gameling" nos pusimos manos a la obra, hablo siempre en plural porque fui a Madrid con Caminero y Santi, dos amigos y compañeros también de LGDA.
Last weekend I was in Madrid to visit the Freakwars, an event that really left me with a good taste.
At first, my intention was to go to see everything there would be, miniatures of many different brands, with a lot of foreign presence, and then try to participate in a demonstration game like Gaslands or Punkapocalyptic, but finally what I did most was to support La Guerra del Anillo in the stand we had prepared.
The people of La Guerra del Anillo were in charge of setting up the stand, and when we arrived on Saturday morning, after sleeping at Luis "Gameling's house" we got down to work, I always speak in plural because I went to Madrid with Caminero and Santi, two friends and colleagues also from LGDA.
Al final me llevé uno de los módulos de mi Ciudad Bajo la Montaña, y muchas miniaturas, incluyendo a todos mis Ents, a los que junté con los del bueno de Guillermo "Shagrat", entre los dos dispusimos allí un gran ejército de Pastores de Árboles...

Ha sido una bonita experiencia con la que cierro, en principio, una etapa de miniaturas, ya que voy a dejar de ir a torneos por un tiempo, quiero aprender a jugar, y tomármelo un poco más en serio, antes de volver a jugar una partida. Era el punto y final, y había torneo, y participé, y volví a perder mis tres partidas, esta vez estuvieron bien, me divertí y no tenía pretensiones de hacer nada, llevaba unas listas muy raras, con un Balrog y Escudos Negrso de Moria por un lado y Bárbol y un Ent con Ghân-Buri-Ghân y dos woses por el otro. Al final me dieron el premio a Ejército Mejor Personalizado... hasta me llevé algo, sin quererlo, pero ya me explicaron el por qué.

It was the end point, and there was a tournament, and I participated, and I lost my three games again, this time they were fine, I had fun and had no pretensions to do anything, I had very rare lists, with a Balrog and Negrso de Moria Shields on the one hand and Bárbol and an Ent with Ghân-Buri-Ghân and two woses on the other. In the end they gave me the Best Personalized Army award ... I even took something, without wanting to, but they already explained to me why.
En fin, como había tiendas me traje unas cuantas cosas, miniaturas principalmente, aunque también un tapete de Deep Cut Studio muy chulo y a muy buen precio.

En cuanto a las miniaturas, pues unas cuantas. Esta primera y la segunda que muestro son de ElGen, un Gandalf un pelín más grande que nuestra gama, pero que quedará bien, y un Nâzgul que ha subido unas empinadas escaleras...

Esta otra es de Saga, de la serie Age of Magic, se trata de un Sorcerer, y lo voy a usar para ser el Mahud del Mûmak, el blanco, para ello lo pondré sin la capa, como en la segunda foto.

Y para acabar las que más me han gustado de todas mis compras, unas minis de Forge of Doom, un cuarteto con Capitán y Soldados de la Serpiente.

Y un trío de Guerreros de Doom, unas minis que usaré para los ejércitos del Khand u Hombres del Este, ya veremos.
