Seguimos actualizando el tema de El Desafío de este año. En mayo tampoco participé, y la verdad es que hubo pocas compañías, mis favoritas son estas dos:

TXIKI TUDELA KALZADA, ANOTHER CHARACTER FOR THE PUNKA
En plena efervescencia creativa con las minis de Punka, la semana pasada me puse a pintar esta figura y me recordó a Chiquito de la Calzada, así que le limé el poco pelo que tenía en la cabeza para dejarlo calvo como el humorista y lo acabé de pintar.

Hace unos días que acabé la compañía para El Desafío de Agosto. Contento con el resultado, aunque en las peanas no he dado el todo, y estoy un poco desilusionado, quería haberlas hecho con más cuidado, pero esos últimos días de agosto he estado muy liado con una liga de baloncesto que organizo (y juego, claro), así que fue un poco para salir del paso.

I am happy with the result, although on the bases I have not given everything, and I am a bit disappointed, I wanted to have done them with more care, but those last days of August I have been very involved with a basketball league that I organize (and I play, of course ), so it was a bit of a muddle.

Tenía a este muchacho pintado desde hace ya unos meses, y anoche me puse y pinté otro más para Punkapocalyptic, y al hacer las fotos he visto que no lo había subido, así que nada, aquí tenéis al Bombero torero con la pollera en los gayumbos...

WIP ABRAKHÂN MERCHANT GUARD
Tras unos días liado con otra cosa ya he empezado a trabajar en los gorditos... tengo dada la capa base de las pieles y he acabado más o menos a dos para ver el esquema de color, lilas y azules principalmente...

NEW LOT OF TABLETOP WORLD
Es supercomplicado pillar algo de esta marca de escenografía, la única forma prácticamente es pedir directamente al sitio web, pero todo viene de Croacia, y los gastos de envío y tasas hacen subir mucho el precio final. Sí, es la mejor marca que hay de escenografía, la calidad y el diseño son impresionantes, pero como digo, una quimera pillar algo.
Y mira por dónde el otro día sin venir a cuento me encontré un lote en Wallapop a un precio muy bueno. Se trataba de la Merchant House con las mercancías, la Townhouse, dos Pozos, uno con techumbre y el otro no (todo esto ya lo tenía de antes, lo tengo además pintado, menos los pozos), y además venía una Letrina y la Cottage II... lo reservé y lo pagué, y luego cuando miro el precio en la tienda oficial... me he ahorrado más del 50%... éxito total, además incluí dos agujeros hobbit de Forgeworld al lote, también con descuento con respecto a la tienda oficial. Lo dicho, un éxito.

I booked it and paid for it, and then when I look at the price in the official store ... Sí, voy a por los gorditos de la gama. Y es que la semana pasada me llegó el kickstarter de Ridgeback Miniatures, y venían unas preciosas figuras de Guardia de Abrakhân, además de otras preciosas, que a ver si hago fotos y os las enseño.
La cosa es que siempre recibo cosas y luego tardo una eternidad en pintarlas, dejando un poco de ser la novedad, y esta vez quería ser el primero o de los primeros en tener las figuras pintadas, así que me busqué unos originales de Games Workshop que tenía por aquí para completar la compañía.
Además hoy me han llegado unas cosillas de Tabletop World que he pillado con un 60% de descuento, un chollo que he aprovechado.
