ORDER FROM LIBERTO STUDIO
Es la primera vez que hago un pedido de minis impresas. No tengo impresora 3D y por ahora no tengo intención de hacerme con una, y aprovechando que un buen amigo, Antonio Moya, tiene una empresa de impresión y pintado de minis, hice un pedido con unos orcos que me gustan, creo que eran diseños de Medbury en su gran mayoría.
Me llegaron ayer, y la verdad es que no he desempaquetado todo, solo una pequeña parte, unos regalitos que me ha metido el bueno de Moya, y nada más con eso... qué calidad de impresión y de diseños... creo que no va a ser el último. Ahora toca ponerme a pintarlos, pero los voy a dejar para comenzar fuerte El Desafío 2024.
This is my first time ordering printed minis. I don't have a 3D printer and for now I have no intention of getting one, and taking advantage of the fact that a good friend, Antonio Moya, has a mini printing and painting company, I placed an order with some orcs that I like, I think they were designs of Medbury for the most part.
They arrived yesterday, and the truth is that I haven't unpacked everything, just a small part, some little gifts that good old Moya gave me, and nothing more with that... what quality of printing and designs... I think It won't be the last. Now it's time to start painting them, but I'm going to leave them to start The Challenge 2024 strong.
Por cierto, que para los Concursos del año que viene de La Guerra del Anillo, he optado por aumentar el número de aspectos a puntuar. Por ejemplo desaparece El Desafío Conversiones, y pasa a ser El Desafío Personalizado, puntuando también las minis de marcas alternativas a GW, un trasfondo, las conversiones, las fotos subidas y las conversiones en sí... creo que así ganará interés y habrá mucha más participación... solo con lo de que puntúen las minis que no sean de GW ya puede participar casi todo el mundo.
By the way, for next year's War of the Ring Contests, I have chosen to increase the number of aspects to be scored. FINISHED THE SECOND MERCENARY GOBLINS COMPANY
A falta de unos días para acabar el plazo ya tengo lista la compañía de Trasgos Mercenarios para El Desafío de Diciembre. Contento con el resultado, creo que han quedado bastante bien, y sobre todo contento con el de la antorcha, que me ha sorprendido y el más bajito, que lo presentaré a el MasterMini, aunque con las minis que hay ahí... no espero rascar nada.

ALMOST READY THE FIRST FOUR OF DECEMBER

No creo que me de tiempo de pintar los 16, pero al menos tengo que acabar para fin de año ocho, para El Desafío.

EL DESAFÍO NOVEMBER 2023
Este mes he participado con una compañía de Trasgos Mercenarios que como sabéis he conversionado a partir de trasgos normales. La verdad es que he quedado satisfecho con el resultado, y parece que han gustado.

NOW, LET'S PAINT
Anoche antes de irme a la cama estuve liado con la masilla verde, acabando de hacer unas cuantas cosillas: Poner pupas a un montón de trasgos por el cuerpo, hacer algún casco más, poner alguna barba o pelo en la cabeza o la joroba, preparar del todo las dos antorchas... en fin, dando los últimos retoques de modelado.
Hoy los he colocado a cada Trasgo en su peana para mañana intentar imprimar en negro y en cuanto tenga tiempo ponerme por fin a pintarlos.
Last night before going to bed I was busy with the green putty, finishing doing a few things: Put pupae on a bunch of goblins' bodies, make some more helmets, put some beard or hair on the head or hump, prepare completely the two torches... in short, giving the final modeling touches.
Today I have placed each Goblin on its base so that tomorrow I will try to prime them in black and as soon as I have time I will finally start painting them.
MERCENARY GOBINS UPDATE
Después de unos días acabando con la masilla, ya casi la tengo lista, faltan algunos detalles en la segunda compañía, y no en todas las figuras, así que prácticamente están acabados, aunque me estoy pensando meterles más pupas y algún bulto más en el cuerpo, puede ser.
La cosa es que después de hacer las fotos he decidido hacer un montaje con el avance de cada miniatura a lo largo del trabajo de la masilla, y me ha gustado como han quedado, así que subo los de todos los Trasgos por delante y por detrás.

A LITTLE MORE WORK WITH THE PUTTY
Otro avance más con la masilla. Sigo con las armaduras, además de faldones en los ocho últimos Trasgos y acabar otras cosillas que tenía pendientes. Creo que mañana, si me pongo, acabo con la masilla, que tengo ganas de meterme con los pinceles.

STARTING THE CONVERSIONS
Un par de días llevo liado ya con los Trasgos para convertirlos en Trasgos Mercenarios. Me he metido de lleno en la tarea con la masilla, y he conseguido un buen ritmo, ayer acabé las primeras partes y ya estoy liado con los faldones, para mañana o quizás pasado, comenzar con las armaduras y dejar para el final algunos detalles que quiero hacerles en forma de pelo, jorobas, cabezones, etc...

Figura preciosa de Eden Miniatures, una pena que esta marca ya no siga sacando figuras, aunque leí por ahí que en este 2023 o quizás 2024 habría un relanzamiento, pues entraría en él a tope, porque son miniaturas preciosas.

EL DESAFÍO OCTOBER 2023
En Octubre la participación ha subido notablemente, y es que desde Sevilla se han apuntado un buen número de usuarios para hacer su particular Desafío sevillano, así que nada, hemos tenido más compañías y el nivel ha subido también. Yo he participado con Rufianes, la primera vez que los pinto, y satisfecho.

En su momento estuve a punto de pintarlo, pero perdí parte del bastón, la cosa es que lo recogí, pero no sabía lo que era y no recuerdo dónde lo puse. Ahora tengo la mini de nuevo completa y para acabar con los Mutardos pues voy a por este Cabezón.

La otra noche tenía ganas de pintar, y sobre mi mesa estaba este chavalote, así que le di caña y lo conseguí acabar luego, por la mañana, más que nada porque había que esperar a que secara el efecto tierra de la peana.
Pensaba que sería un Chatarrero, pero me han aclarado que mejor un Pandillero, porque éstos sí pueden llevar escudos, así que nada, Korrigan el Pandillero.

Los tenía empezados y hoy estaba con ganas de pintar, así que después de terminar a Larri Langosta me he puesto y he acabado los dos pochos que tenía para completar los 5 que empecé.
